The Highlights - Dev Partners Monthly Newsletter March 2021

Here is a monthly dose of news, updates, fun facts, and everything you need to know about Dev Partners.

The first quarter of the year is a very important time for just about any business. The goals and the strategies on how they can be achieved are planned during this time, and it lays the foundation of success for the rest of the year.

We are happy to announce that so far, Dev Partners has been hitting its goals set for the first three months. There has been a lot of planning as the team adapts to limitations brought about by the pandemic, not just to us but to our clients, but we are blessed to keep everything on track.

Apart from business goals, our focus is also to continue to provide much-needed training for the team to boost their skills and developmental needs.

TRAINING UPDATE

Training goals hit for Q1 of the year

Dev Partners is closing the first quarter of the year in high spirit with members hitting training goals. Everyone is giving their best and the entire team has been very happy and satisfied with their performance.

The company extends its gratitude to all Dev Partners family, our developers for continuously providing our clients their unconditional good service and loyalty. In return, we are ready to give more!

The training team comes up with an even more creative way to reward all hardworking employees by having fun at the same time. This would allow them to persevere even harder. There will be a Q&A virtual game to be given to all developers regardless of the clients they are working with. Whoever submitted the correct answers first will be given a monetary reward. The scope of the questions will be coming from their recent training modules, their stacks, and the general knowledge of the software development.

We appreciate all of your efforts. KUDOS to everyone!

FUN CORNER

Mindful exercises to do at home

Everyone who works at home knows that the setup can be fun yet challenging at the same time. Tasks can get overwhelming, both for work and household chores. And no matter how we tried to prevent it, multi-tasking seemed inevitable.

If you are feeling a bit of burnout, it is important to take a break, focus on yourself, and shift your mood.

  • Have some breathing exercises. This can be as simple as breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth. Make sure to keep your focus on your breathing and try not to think of other things.

  • Practice mindful eating. If you want to have a break by having a snack, you may do so according to your hunger. Eat what you can take, eat slowly, and just focus on the moment to give you energy as you go back to work.

  • Have mindful pauses. If work and other tasks get overwhelming, take a break. Check the things you need to accomplish for the day mindfully and make sure that you are still aligned with that.

  • Take a walk. This can be as simple as walking around your home and looking at things mindfully. This is a good form of break and relaxation as it slows your brain down, making you focus on your intentions when you get back to what you are doing.
